The location was the main reason for us to choose Fairmont Hotel. We travelled with little children so it's important for us to stay in a hotel close to the Haram. We got a room in a very high floor, they asked us first if we want it or not and we didn't have any objection. If you also got a room in a very high floor like us, you don't need to worry because the high floor room has a very pretty city view and there are many elevator (always working during our stay, pay attention to the elevator info so you take the right elevators, but it's not complicated, don't worry). The room was spacious, clean, and very comfy. There was also a huge smart TV connected to the internet in our room so we can monitor the situation in the haram (help us a lot because we bring our kids to do umrah and praying at the haram). To conclude, it was the best room that we can get with the price that we paid. The breakfast was fantastic and the restaurant staffs were always friendly and helpful. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and easy. I think the only note is regarding the pick up process if you use a private taxi. It can be a bit tricky, as you may need to have permit from the hotel (you need to arrange it with the hotel about 30 minutes before the pick up time). However, we would still recommend this hotel and would like to stay again here if we are going to visit Mecca again in the future. Thank you Fairmont Hotel Team, keep up the good work!

I will give the most honest review of this hotel. First, I will give the salient features. Pros I booked a room for a single person with Kaba view from booking.com in a 1600 SAR. Payment was supposed to be on the site, but when 2 days were remaining, then I got a link to pay, or my booking might be cancelled, so I paid. I reached at night and I was asked to have dinner by the receptionist which I was not expecting, dinner was very good. Then I slept in a room on the 6th floor, and there were tea coffee tv accessories of the bathroom and toilet, a sound system broadcasting from Haram the Namaz and Azan both and controps of volume and mute buttons. My room was kaba's view, so it was. The temperature was good. Lifts were fast and spacious, and too many. The room was clean and acceptable. For computers and laptops, there was a wired internet connection. The next morning, an excellent breakfast was provided with hundreds of items on the top floor.

Best location to stay if you are staying with family compare to other properties in the other places where you need to walk a lot and with current rush in the Haram shariff it is better to be as close as possible and Fairmont is the best among the rest. Rooms are VERY CLEAN AND TIDY and well maintained. Food was comparatively a bit same almost every day need to add some more Indian touch to the Menu as compared to only GCC Cuisine. There is a prayer room for the hotel customer which makes things easier during prayer and that is the best i guess for the stay as going and coming to haram is not possible every time.

It was SPECTACULAR!!! From room, to guest service, cleaning, staff, help, overall vibe of hotel it was a wholesome experience, truly truly exceptional. The staff at concierge, reception to house keeping each penny is worth spending. Mr Muhammad Fawzi Manager House Keeping and Amir Ahmed were super co operative and top of their game and offcourse the clock tower hotel rituals, Dates and Arabic Kehwa , what else can one ask for
